Chabot Space and Science Center’s mission is to inspire and educate learners of all ages about the Universe and Planet Earth.
As a not-for-profit science center and observatory, Chabot relies on generous contributions from you, our community members to fuel our ability to launch and inspire a future generation of scientists and science-literate adults through year-round programs. Our team of STEM educators and informal education professionals are always innovating; we see ourselves as a 138-year-old start up. Your philanthropic support enables pre-K though high school programs that encourage all youth to see themselves in STEM careers, as well as new and exciting programs and exhibits for all visitors.
Your Support Fuels:
$1,000 for exhibit development and prototyping
$500 for a Chabot field trip experience for one class
$250 for a family membership offered through our community-based partners
$100 for materials for community-based pop-ups
