- Take Hwy. 24 West to Hwy. 13 South toward Hayward

- Take the Joaquin Miller Rd Exit
- Turn right at Joaquin Miller Rd

Chabot Space & Science Center is Oakland’s home for STEAM education, located within Redwood Regional Park. Convenient, free parking in Chabot’s 3-level parking structure.
Take the Bus!
You can now take the bus to Chabot!
The service to Chabot Space and Science Center “Line 31”. Line 31 will operate every 30 minutes between Bay Farm Island, Eastern Alameda (Park St), Fruitvale Ave, Fruitvale BART, and the Dimond District. All trips between roughly 5:30 AM and 7 PM will start and end at Chabot Space and Science Center. Trips after 7 PM until 10 PM will end at Fruitvale and MacArthur Blvd.

Parking
Convenient, free parking is available in the adjacent 3-level parking structure. Additional parking for special events is available on weekends in the Staff Lot (near the Observatory) or in the West Lot off Skyline Blvd.
Accessible parking is available near the main entrance to Chabot. Parking spaces for vehicles with disabled parking permits are located across from the parking structure – on the left coming up the driveway from Skyline Blvd. A drop-off area is also located in front of the main entrance.
